Volunteers play a vital role at Scotland County Humane Society. Without our volunteers we would never be able to the provide the current level of programs and services to assist the animals and community. There are numerous activities in need of your energy and talents, including adoption clinics and public events within the Scotland County region. Volunteers must be atleast 18 years of age to work at the shelter and handle animals, but younger volunteers are welcome to supply homemade treats or toys for the animals made at home. If you would like to volunteer, please come see us to complete a volunteer application. We will then schedule you to attend an orientation before you begin volunteering. Come see us to find out how you can contribute your time to help the homeless pets of Scotland County.
