Progress
At the Scotland County Humane Shelter (SCHS), we are committed to running a shelter whose focus is on ensuring the health of our animals and the happiness of our clients. We've made progress on both ends, and have increased the survivability of each animal that enters our doors. The collaboration of our staff, volunteers, donors, and adopters results in a positive change every day.
SCHS receives animals from three primary sources: The City of Laurinburg Animal Control, Scotland County Animal Control, and directly from the public. We receive no federal or state funding, and are not affiliated with any national organizations. Every measure of success is due to the care, support, and hard work from those around us.
We thank the community and our staff for their support, and the generosity of the families who choose to adopt and help us save lives.
