Lost & Found

We know how scary it is to lose a pet, or to find one wandering without a family. Our goal is to help get pets home safely and quickly! Fill out a report below:

If you’ve lost a pet, fill out a report, send us a photo at shelter@scotlandhumane.org, and visit the shelter in person with proof of ownership. We take in nearly 2,000 animals a year, so not every pet can be posted online. Strays have a 72-hour hold before becoming SCHS property, so checking in person is the best way to find your pet.

If an animal has a microchip or a collar with a tag, we will do our best to make contact with the registered owner. Be sure your pets always wear a collar and keep microchip info updated - an ID gives them the best chance to make it back home!
