Available Dogs

We depend on the City of Laurinburg and Scotland County for animal control, and do not provide those services ourselves.

If you have found a dog, have a stray in your neighborhood or would like to report a neglected or dog, please contact the animal control agency for your location.

Volunteers play a vital role at Scotland County Humane Society.   Without our volunteers we would never be able to the provide the current level of programs and services to assist the animals and community.  There are numerous activities in need of your energy and talents, including adoption clinics and public events within the Scotland County region.  If you would like to volunteer, please come see us to complete a volunteer application.  We will then schedule you to attend an orientation before you begin volunteering.  Come see us to find out how you can contribute your time to help the homeless pets of Scotland County.
